This project involved the construction of a new 12m x 27m canopy on an industrial building in Penrose after the previous canopy – built by another contractor – had collapsed. The team began by removing existing damaged cladding on one face of the building, then moved on to replacing the lightweight steel structure and creating a series of new rafters that extend 12 metres out from the building, before installing new cladding and roofing services. The finished product allows large trucks to load and unload while protected from the elements.
