This building expansion project came with the significant complication of extending its current retail space into an existing warehouse while maintaining a safe and functional retail operation.  Haydn & Rollett worked through a four-stage refurbishment of the store, including raising the ceiling height to create a more open retail space and to allow for additional storage. Running alongside the refurbishment, Haydn & Rollett’s team was simultaneously tackling work for the owner, including a 10,000 square metre roof replacement to the adjoining warehouse, an amenities refurbishment and upgrade of office air-conditioning, and the construction of a full-height fire wall.
