The 1920s Dilworth Building on the corner of downtown Auckland’s Queen and Customs Streets is home to some terrific apartments. For this 8th floor eyrie, Haydn & Rollett completed a series of joinery projects, including bespoke cupboards for the laundry, a large white Melteca bookcase with adjustable shelving, a new walk-in wardrobe and linings for two other existing wardrobes, and mirror-door cabinets for the bathrooms.

The team also created an impressive kitchen for the owners using lacquered MDF and with pocket doors and a large stone-topped island. Probably the project’s standout feature, however, is the six-metre long floating TV cabinet for the living area.
