This residential project by Haydn & Rollett’s joinery department was focused mostly on the kitchen, where the team used a mix of American oak veneer and stone bench tops, with Blum hardware throughout. The scullery, by contrast, is all about Melteca, deployed in a range of colours. The talking point piece in this part of the house is the wavy timber ceiling. Designed by the owner, it was precision machined in the workshop then installed onsite. In the nearby TV area, the team inserted American white oak ceiling fins to create some visual interest.
