When Auckland youth social services agency Kia Puāwai took on a shared tenancy with New Zealand Health Group, Haydn and Rollett was engaged to transform a single workspace into two. First, the shared floor of the multi-level building was physically separated, followed by data and security. Healthcare NZ’s side got a kitchen, Kia Puāwai received new bathroom facilities.
With each tenant employing their own designer and style, the two halves were given distinctive office fit-outs. In Kia Puāwai’s case, that included relocating several tukutuku panels, carvings and other treasures from its former premises.
