This job in Henderson involved constructing a warehouse extension of around 550m2 then opening up access from the existing premises. One of the challenges here involved building on a live site. The other complication, which was thankfully discovered during the design stage, was that the ground conditions included a significant area that was unstable and prone to liquefaction. In response, the design incorporated new piling in addition  to raft foundations.
